2026 SUNSET DINNER CRUISE ON THE MEKONG RIVER
Our Sunset Dinner Cruise Fundraiser, on September 7, was a success thanks to all of those who participated: the attendees, donors,
Cambo Cruise's staff and all the teachers for putting the cruise together and thanks to our photographer!!! Our most sincere thank you
to all involved in helping make it financially possible for our school to continue.
The funds for the school come exclusively from donors and fund raising events. The School has no corporate partners. For the 2026-
2027 School year, Opportunity for Poor Children's directors have adopted a budget of $19,000. This includes rent, utilities, all
supplies (provided free to the students) and teacher's; wages for the school's ten classes. Note: All the school's teachers are Khmer and are the only individuals who receive income from The School. The net income from the 2026 Dinner Cruise, after expenses, was
$1,200. This is a major step towards The School being funded for the school year. (If you are interested in donating, 100% of your donation goes directly to the school. Just click here!
